Demonstrations / Workshops
Flower & Music Live Show: 60 minutes/From $800
Shoso creates 6 arrangements in the traditional style, from a miniature arrangement to a medium size arrangement (up to 100 cm high), one of which the clients can keep for their display. During the demonstration, Shoso will talk briefly about the characteristics of the flowers used and their therapeutic effects.
Accompanying live music can be chosen from international solo artists playing the cello, the flute or the Koto (Japanese harp).
This show can be incorporated with a special dinner to be presented as Flower, Music & Dinner Show.
Demonstration: 50 minutes/$450, Suited up to 80 people.

Staff Development Seminars: "Ikebana for Creative Business" & "Ikebana for Team Building"
Workshop A. Experiencing Ikebana: 90 minutes/$600, Up to 20 participants.
This workshop takes participants through the essence of basic Ikebana. You'll enjoy the relaxing and contemplative process of creating your own arrangements. You may also find yourself re-energised through the magic of touching beautiful gifts of nature. Arrive with nothing and leave with delicate floral works of art and the inspiration to make may more. At the end of the session, you will have an opportunity to have an individual consultation with Shoso and share the philosophy behind your unique arrangements with other participants. The works can be left as an exhibition for the other members of the institution so that participants can enjoy seeing their works on display.
Workshop B. Team building: 90 minutes/$800, Up to 40 participants.
After touching on the basics of Ikebana, you will form a team and create a large free style Ikebana. In the process you are encouraged to unleash your creativity. This is a fun way to enhance your team working skills. At the end of the session, each team has an opportunity to talk about how their stunning arrangement came to fruition. The participants' works can be left as an exhibition for the other members of the institution or the public in general. It is recommended to combine this workshop with the demonstration.
